Default Odometer problem

well...the other day my odometer stopped turning and got stuck at 121999 miles, and trip odometer doesnt work either. I don't know if it was something I did, becuase it happened around the time I filled my gas tank, and I usually reset the trip odometer to watch my gas mileage. Everything else works on the dash, just those two. I tried reseting the trip odometer and pushed it a few times, and I also tried reseting the maitenance light with my key which was suggested in a previous post, but that didnt help. I just wanted to know if there is anything that could be loose like a wire or something that I could check? Or is there no saving it? I found a gauge cluster on ebay for dirt cheap, but it has about 13k miles more than my car actually has. I plan on keeping the car till it dies, so I'm really notworried aboutthe value it will loose with the higher mileage cluster, but I will only get it as a last resort. And how hard would it be to put in if I do end up getting it?

Sorry for the lengthy post guys, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

i had to replace mine 2 weeks ago due to my speedo and fuel gage were not working properly.if you have to change your cluster, one tip i could tell you is there are 2 screws that holds the bezel that you should be aware of, if you remove the radio cluster, right above the housing area, there are the 2 screws holding the bezel.i believe it just underneath your climate control *****.just peek underneathand you should see it.other than that it is not hard toreplace your cluster.oh yeah push outyour switches from the backso you coulddisconnect them, the knee bolster are snap ons',mine is anyway.good luck!
