Oil leak on 4 cyl 2003 Accord VTECH
#2
When you are zoomed in on the spot you see oil, it is hard to figure out what is nearby. That is a difficult area to get a good photo as well.
Is that pool of oil below or above the cylinder head?
My best advice is to clean up all of the oil. Spray athletes foot powder in the area. Then see where it gets stained when the engine is running. Look for the highest point you see oil.
The oil pressure switch is above the oil filter, and the vtec solenoid is on the firewall side of the cylinder head towards the driver's side of the block. Those are 2 items I would take a close look at.

Thanks
Thanks for your assistance. It was the VTECH solenoid gasket (as you suggested as a possibility) where it connects to the block. For this car it is located on the block above the oil filter on the passenger side. It is a long way from where I saw oil pooling on the drivers side. Lesson learned is not to focus only above the point where the oil pools, because all sort of cable and metal parts channel the oil from other parts.
