Default Oil and plugs

Apologies if this has been asked before, (it probably has but I didn't find anything with the search). Anyways, I am going to change the plugs and oil on an F22Z2.

What brand of plugs and grade of oil should I be using?

Kind of a debate starter.

Personally, I'd only use NGK plugs.

Check the owners manual, I think (been wrong before) the 97 still used 5w-30.

Yeah, I was thinking NGK or Denso but opinions on them seem to be pretty split. Everyone seems to be agreed that Bosch are no good.

Would the 5w30 be synthetic or mineral? I'd check the handbook ...but I don't have one.

Dino or syn is still up for choice?

You can go to Honda's website and reg you car and get a pdf owners manual.

rule of thumb is don't switch to synthetic oil in high mileage vehicles due to risk of oil seals starting to leak (more).
So answer is ... common mineral oil 5W-30.
