Default One brake light not working

2010 Accord Coupe 4 cyl
The driver's side brake light stopped working. Replaced the bulb & still no go.
Passenger side & hi center lite are working. Obviously the fuse is good if other lites are working.
Any ideas out there?

1. Is the replacement bulb a 7443 (dual filament)? That bulb serves dual purpose as a brake light and taillight. If you replaced it with a single filament 7440, that may be your problem.

2. If it is not the bulb, then it would be the wiring or socket. The same power source is used by all the brake lights, and both the left and right brake lights use the same ground bolt.

With a voltmeter, there should be power (+) on the light green wire at the socket with the brake pedal depressed.

With a meter to test for continuity, there should be continuity to ground on the black wire.
