over heating

hi every one ... i have this 95 acord coupe and problem i face now a days is tht it gets heated up very fast ..... car works fine when i put coolant in it for about 2 days and thn it starts heating up again ... i checked fr the coolant level but there was nthing in it .. wt can be the cause where is the coolant going ... i checked the radiator there is no leak .. i have also removed the thermostat coz its very hot at my place plzz help very frustrated ... and why do my fan keeps on running for some time after i switch off my car the fan is still running fr about 5 minutes .. plz help

Yes I would also think it might be a thermostat , try replacing that

Hi...
The fan is supposed to run after you even shut down the car, this is a way for the motor to cool off-so that part is alright.

Pull out your oil dipstick and see if the oil is a murky color and also check to se if the oil on the stick has any bubbles on it. If it does report back...
