Default Overheating Problem

Hey guys, I have a honda accord, 1994. Recently the coolant ran out and my car overheated, i put more coolant in but i accidentally put in all concentrate, not 50/50. Anyways, now my temperature gauge keeps skyrocketing when i slow down or come to a stop, once i gain speed again it quickly evens out. I turned on my car and looked under the hood to notice that my radiator fans aren't running. Is the problem that my coolant is too thick and not circulating? or should i get my fans checked out too?

Don't add a similar problem to an existing thread. Too confusing.

Cooling fans will only run when car is hot or AC is on, so be sure those conditions exist before you decide fans are not running.

Remove connector to thermoswitch A (near thermostat) and short connector w/ wire jumper. Turn keyswitch to On and fans should run. If not, faulty fans or fan relays.

Drain/replace coolant w/ fresh correctly mixed coolant. You could have damaged head gasket w/ all the overheating.

good luck
