Default P1705 engine code and flashing d4

Hey folks, just had to share this since it took me all day to figure it out. I just finished replacing the thermostat and took my 2001 accord for a test drive. Once I got back I developed a check engine light (code 7) and a flashing d4 drive light. I took it down to Oreillys where they scanned the code and got a p1705 code (TCM gear position switch low input). I couldn't help but think I bumped a sensor or something since this developed right after working on it but after careful examination of the sensor I noticed the connection for the gear position switch is RIGHT UNDER the thermostat. I tried to take it apart but its a real bear especially when covered in coolant....duh!, Ok..got out the compressor and blew out both ends of the connector and everything is back to normal (had to reset the CEL). Easy fix if you run across this.

Good deal.
This is more technical rather than the "new member intro" section where you posted. I'll move it.
