I have exactly the same situation going in with my wife 2000 v6. Clunks in reverse when cold and delayed downshift, like accelerating after making a turn. I am also employing the 'HOLD MY BREATH" technique as I can't afford a single repair right now...lol.

Default Problem Solved

Draker and TexasHonda were right. I waited until it got so bad I had to find out. Took it to the shop today and they found the rear motor mount to be bad. $261 dollars later I drove home happy. The clunk is gone. I was happy to find it was not something worst. Thanks to everyone for your help. Hope this info helps someone else
