Parking light issue
Ok, My parking brake light was staying on, even though the handle was fully released. I figured that the cable was just sticking, as its getting cold here, but the car would roll easily in neutral. Also, when i start the car with the ebrake on, the headlights dont come on until i release the brake. This light dosnt stop the headlights from turning on.
Eventually, after about an hour of driving the light has gone off, what else could i be looking at here?
Thanks in advance
Jeff

RE: Parking light issue
What car? Year??
But anyway... Most Hondas have a float sensor in the brake fluid reservoir, this sets off the same warning lamp. Check your brake fluid level.
If the fluid level is OK, then maybe your float sensor it flaky?
If the fluid is actually low, it might be an early warning that your brake pads are getting worn out. As they wear, fluid moves from the reservoir to the calipers.
