Default PCV valve

Hello,
While I was purchasing a couple of parts from a local Honda dealer I asked for a quote on the PCV valve and was told it is about $21.00 for the Honda part. The PCV valve from Napa was only a few dollars. My PCV valve works fine but for future reference has any one noticed a difference from a Honda PCV verses an after market PCV? A Honda mechanic that came to the parts desk while I was being attended to mentioned that the Honda part has the proper spring tension then a generic after market part.

Thanks

True, some of the aftermarket valves have a very stiff spring.
You should be able to press the valve plunger very easily or suck lightly on the end and the valve opens.
