PLEASE HELP...1990 seat belt works backwards.

Default PLEASE HELP...1990 seat belt works backwards.
What can cause the drivers side seat belt to move forward when the door is shut (unsecured)and when the door is open it comes back into secure position. So when I'm driving its forward and when I get out of the car it comes back at me. HELP, what can I do

switch the wires around the polarity is backwards?
