Default Poor engine performance and poor fuel economy 2000 Accord 4-cyl

Hey guys.

I'm pretty new to these forms but i read them all the time. I have a 2000 Accord LX 4-cyl. It has 123,000 miles on it and runs great. I do regular maint myself oil, coolant, etc. However the past couple months i have been receiving poor performance and bad fuel economy. The engine has a smooooooth idle, its so good I can put a wine glass on the valve cover and it wont move. When the engine is completely warmed up the RPM's are just at 800. I just replaced the spark plugs this morning with NGK G-Power the same ones as before. New plugs didnt do anything new. Still slugish! I have also ordered new wires only because they are the originals and it is time for them to be replaced. What could be the problem for such poor pick up and gas milage?

Thanks

Does the check engine light come on while driving? You may want to get the codes read at a part store like autozone and post the results on here. Codes start with the letter P and have four numbers, i.e. P1234.

Nope no engine lights come on. The check engine light in the car has never turned on.

Check the tire pressure. That can cause poor fuel economy.

How is you engine performing poorly?

Is the intake air filter really dirty? Or is something clogged in the tube from the filter to the throttle body?

Jack up the rear end. The wheels should spin freely. Could be your caliper is stuck and braking a wheel. Rotor could even be blued from heat. This would effect your mileage with no engine code error.
