1994 accord ex 4 cyl, auto, high rev to shift from 2nd to 3rd, power loss. Tune up done, timing belt done 12,000 miles ago, new dist. Last year. Was running fine , shifting fine, parked it for 2-3 days. When next driven shifted fine 1 to 2 but lost power on 2-3 shift and would not build speed beyond 40 mph. No flashing d4.

 

Just a wild guess... did you check the transmission fluid?
Is it the proper level and red?
