If I remember correctly there is a 6 speed manual that was an option in some of the Acura TL's that bolts up to the accord...I don't know part numbers or anything but I'm almost positive that you can....

It is possible. I just found this tonight: http://www.6thgenaccord.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=4308 All I can say is WOW! I am ridiculously impressed. I never thought anyone would take the time and effort to do this. I figured they would just take the whole CL 6sp tranny and engine out and swap it all. I thought that would be easier. Looks like that guy is going to be making kits in the near future. The only thing he needs to do is swap out his gauge pod so it won't say he is in 1st gear all the time.

Several people have done the CL-S swap, both engine and transmission, on their 6thgen AV6. Majority of them are at www.v6p.net
