possibly bent anti-sway bar
I have a 1993 Honda Accord LX, 5-speed, 4 door. When I got it I found that the sway bar links were completely dry rotted. When I replaced them I had a tough time getting it back together. I loosened the sway bar mounts to try to get the links to line up with the lower control arms and then broke one of the bolts off for the mounts. Fixed that, got it back together and drove it a while. Now I'm putting it back together after replacing the rotors, wheel bearings, shocks and coil springs. I sand blasted the sway bar and painted it.
I'm wondering if the sway bar might have been bent at some time like from when the links were rotted or from the previous owner bottoming out on something. The ends of the sway bar don't seem to line up with both lower control arms at the same time. Other than buying a new one I have no idea how to figure out if there is something wrong here. Any suggestions?

thanks
Thanks for the help. This went together with no problems. I don't know why I had so much trouble a few years ago. Maybe I'm just a better mechanic now. Having this forum helps a lot.
The sandblasted and rustoleum-green sway bar and lower control arms look pretty good under my old Honda.
