About a year ago a loud buzzing noise from the drivers door happens when the doors are locked. Two weeks ago when you open the power locks, the rear hatch lock pops up and then relocks itself making it impossible to open the hatch. Even if the hatch button is held up manually the hatch will not open. ANY IDEAS HOW TO FIX without incurring $$$? I can't get the hatch door open to remove the interior and get to the actuator. I can't believe Honda didn't add a way of opening the hatch manually from the inside.

Somehow I repeated my post.

 

I would pull the fuse for the power door locks. Manually unlock the hatch. Pull the panel from the hatch, then unplug the actuator. That fix is free, unless you want to buy and install an actuator for the hatch.

You can get the shop manual for a 94 accord from the Online Manuals thread in the DIY section. That should provide all the info to get the job done.
