Default Power locks won't work after handle replacement

2000 Honda Accord EX-V6.

I replaced the rear driver door exterior handle today. After I replaced it with an OEM handle, I put everything back together and it all went smoothly. The door opened and closed from the outside and inside just dandy. I closed the door and was ready to call it a successful DIY until I tried locking the doors with the REMOTE. Nothing. The REMOTE power locks will unlock and the trunk will open, but they won't lock. The power lock SWITCH will lock/unlock the doors on the driver-side and passenger-side no problem.

Odd.

Any possible solutions you could throw at me would be great. To recap:

Remote will unlock and open the trunk, but NOT lock.
Power lock switch on driver/passenger will lock and unlock.

1. First try resetting the multiplex system. Turn the intermittent wiper ring (on the wiper switch) to its mid-position, then turn the ignition switch to ON and OFF.

2. If resetting the multiplex system doesn't resolve the issue, then try reprogramming the remotes. See page 8 of the following service bulletin:

I was at a buddy's place when I replaced the handle. When I got home the doors on the remote locked. Perhaps I had a door that was not closed all the way? Either way, issue is resolved. Thank you for the speedy reply.
