Default power steering fluid

I'm thinking of flushing/replacing the old power steering fluid from the system in my 92 Accord. I've owned the car since it was new and believe it or not I'm fairly certain it still has the original fluid, never been changed.
No dealer locally here to get Genuine Honda brand power steering fluid from, but I could order from Amazon:
Genuine Honda Fluid 08206-9002 Power Steering Fluid - 12 oz. : Amazon.com : Automotive Genuine Honda Fluid 08206-9002 Power Steering Fluid - 12 oz. : Amazon.com : Automotive

Or I could go to my local Carquest store here and buy what they have to offer which is this Valvoline brand formulated to work in Hondas:
CARQUEST - Product Information:VALVOLINE OIL PRODUCTS Honda Power Steering Fluid - Meets Honda Specifications - Highest quality product, 12 oz bottle, sold by

I'd be cheaper and less trouble to pick up the Valvoline stuff locally but I guess it's apparently important to use only Honda brand stuff. Or if the Valvoline stuff is "formulated" for Hondas isn't that just fine? Also, if I did want to do a complete changeout of the fluid how many bottles do I need? Thanks

On my '99 - now gone - I've always used Mobil 1 ATF synthetic for power steering. I sold it at 180K miles and steering was as new. So was the engine for that matter. Not sure how much I used, about 2 quarts I believe. So I believe the Valvoline you're describing would be just as good.

Probably the Valvoline stuff will be good. For me the important thing is its made "FOR HONDA" and it's not labeled "for all makes". Valvoline isn't a fly-by-night company that nobody has ever heard of...

Okay. That's at least two here who think the Valvoline stuff should be fine. Thanks for the replies. Oh yeah, I was also wondering about how many of those 12 oz bottles I'd be needing to get if I was going to change out all the fluid.

I have a '96 and have bought both the fluid from both the Honda dealership and from Autozone:

Coastal/Honda power steering fluid (AC860211) | Power Steering Fluid and Additive | AutoZone.com

I don't know if your car takes something different. (As I remember the dealership carried only one type of PS fluid.)

If you're going to pull the return hose to the reservoir and flush to an exit container, You may only need a couple of pints -- these systems don't have a very large capacity. However if you are going to do a repeated drain-and-fill through the reservoir without pulling hoses, then you're going to need to do this several times to average down the old fluid ... in which case I would get maybe four pints.
