if you want your window up I'd pull off the door panel and unbolt the window then cut a piece of wood to length and stick it inside the door and wedge it in there so it holds the window in place in the up postion. Then zip tie the board in place so it doesn't slide out...

A couple pf things..........

# 1 , i am sorry for your present dilemma but let keep the vocabulary clean..........

# 2 ,, have you checked the fuse ??? .. chk fuse # 28,, 20 amps , in the underhood fuse box

if the fuse is ok.. you need to chk to see if you are getting powr at motor, ,, remove door panel , get a test lite, hook 1 side to a god ground source , when you push the main window switch to up, you should get power at red/yellow wire ..........when you push switch to down, it should be at red/blue wire......

if you get those than you got a bad motor,,
If no power , you could have a dirty switch, i have seen it many times, contacts on the switch get dirty and pitted..

try this and post results//////// and again Please keep the vocabulary clean.................Thanks ..

Lateley the radio stations constantly get reset as if the car ran out of battery. Could this have anything to do with it? Becase it didnt used to happen before.

if they hooked up the stereo (aftermarket?) to the fusebox/fuse that the door runs on (seen it done on occasion but a bit odd...) then it would make perfect sense. If that fuse blew then it would cut your constant memory power and kill your door window too.... while you're looking at the fuses you might as well just go through them and make sure nothing else is blown...

i just noticed that when i push the window down can hear the motor working a bit.
This probably means my chances of getting it to work by just fixing some wires are pretty good right?

im gona take it appart later today and have a look.

if you can hear it working a bit then it's either wires or a regulator....
