This sounds like fun.....

So the drivers side window works fine......but the pass side does nothing from the master switch or from the pass side switch....correct?

Default Such a JOY!!!

Poorman the Drivers side window goes up down and even has the

Auto up feature working. When I installed the new regulator and

Motor on the passenger side, I was able to roll the passenger window

up but not down. I was able to get access to a honda field service

manual, and in the power window section (22-160) I found some service

procedures. The only thing I haven't done is change the N0. 13 (7.5A)

Fuse on passenger side box. Also I did not change the NO. 14 power

window relay. Could the window still operate up with a bad relay or fuse?

Also could the window still operate up with a bad passenger window

switch. I did not change those items out because the window did

work in one direction. This really is started to drive me nuts!!!

In the procedure, there is a test of jumping some wires (f18? to something) and the window should run, if that in the procedure/pages you have?

...ahh shoot, what year is this car, we are on page 2 and I'm too tired to go back.

Poorman its an 01 Honda Accord 2 dr Ex. Those procedures were in the

pages. I did not do those procedures myself but the stealership said,

they were able to jump power to the window and that it worked.

Anyway sorry to drag the issue out I know it is tiring. Thanks for the help

So far. I am thinking it may be something simple that is right in

front of me. I am never touching anything electrical in this car again!!

hahahha

There I added your info so I don't confuse myself, it will show in any posts going forward.

If F18 is jumped to battery voltage and the window goes down.....#1 issue listed is the pass side switch. After that is a broken wire or the motor......since the "dealer put power to the window" and it went down that kind of rules out the motor. In the manual I have the pic of the "F" connector to the pass side realy/fuse block is on page 22-175.

Sorry about my last post, it was late and I confused myself....someone has a 7th gen with door lock issues and you have the 6th with window issues.....I'm easy to confuse, sorry.

Default Can't believe it!!!

Well all, I really can't believe what happened. Through all we went through

the problem is FIXED!!. Poorman sorry I took so long to get back, I pretty

much gave up on this predicament. Also, thanks to everyone for all thier help

and encouragement!! Anyway long story short, I got frustrated and took

apart everything. I was tracing the steps again from the different solutions, and

behold I started looking at the original window switch, and the one I for from

ebay. I noticed the plugs for the harness were oriented in different positions.

Turns out ebay sent me a switch for a four door rear window switch, not a 2

door ex coupe!!!! Apparently they are not interchangable. Moral of the story is

never give up never surrender, and cross your T's and dot your i's. Thanks for

all you guys's help.
