Default problem with coolant bleeding

I have a 91 accord with 253000 miles, i recently drained and refilled the coolant, now i am having the dreaded surging idle, and i know about the way to use the bleed screw, but i can take it out completely when the car is idling and up to normal temp and nothing comes out of the threaded hole, any idea on what i should do? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Edit - i dont know why my signature isnt showing but i have a 91 accord 2.2l LX MT

After you create your signature, there's a setting somewhere else on your user CP screens. Look for a check-box somewhere that says "show signature". Seems silly & I don't know why it's like that.

If you can remove the bleed screw and nothing comes out, then maybe it's plugged inside. You might have to open the thermostat housing, remove the thermostat, & look around.

Well, if it IS plugged, then I'd be worried about crud in the whole cooling system. In that case it's not the bleed screw you're worried about. Rather it's just bad if the cooling system is full of crud.

When i drained the coolant it seemed clean and crud free, i love hondas and everything, but what the hell were they thinking when they decided to put the ecu ground wire on the thermostat housing bolt?
