Default question about automatic reliability

do you guys think that using synthetic fluid in the tranny like redline would maybe extend the life of the automatic. I know this is a broad question.

the best fluid to use in your auto is the fluid they sell at the dealership, it is the very best, and if you want to recondition your bands and stuff, lucas makes a product called trans fix, it is absolutely outstanding, i have personally used it, and the results can be felt almost immediated after putting it in.

Lightshow, you said a company named 'Lucas' makes something like a conditioner? Is there a website, link or otherwise that can be had? I can only imagine the number of hits Google produces for 'lucas'!

Thanks,

Steve

Here you go: http://www.lucasoil.com/

I fully agree with sticking with Honda's tranny fluid. If I had an automatic I would change it every 30K or less.
