Question on Installing a High Output Alternator
My first post:
I am installing a high output alternator in a 2013 Honda Accord V6 for a sound system.
The alternator idles at 160 amps and peaks at 335 amps for ~14.2 volts and is from Singer Alternators
Mike of Singer Alternators informed me that I won't need to change any wiring to avoid damaging the electronics
because the Honda Accord uses a LIN Bus Regulator that regulates the electricity coming from the alternator.
I just wanted to confirm is this was correct because I don't want to damage any components in the vehicle.
Any feedback would be helpful.
Thank you.
