hello i have a 6th gen 1998 honda accord lx and it has auto locks on it but it came with ought a key fob. i would like to know if it has auto locks does it have everything to support me using a key fob or would i need to buy a kit that has the appropriate harnesses. the car does have an immobilizer.

LX does not come from the factory with keyless entry system (i.e., remote transmitter to lock/unlock doors).

It is an accessory option for the LX to add either the dealer-installed keyless entry system or dealer-installed security system.

So, in other words, if it doesn't have the dealer-installed systems, it won't come with the keyless entry.
