Default Radiator and condenser fan

New to the forum.

I bought an used 94 accord LX. It had front damage. replaced radiator and bumper and radiator fan.
I am trying to test the radiator fan, so I open up the under dash fuse and connect pin 1 and 3 in the radiator fan relay. the driver side fan turns on. I thought that the driver side fan is the condenser fan. If that is the radiator fan, how can I test the condenser fan.
If I turn on the AC, none of the fan turns on. But after the car gets hot, the driverside fan spin up.

well your good for drivin around the pass side is the radiator fan, and the driver is the condensor. your a/c prolly isnt working and thats why the fans arnt turning on when you turn the blower on.

not sure possibly a couple different reasons, most likely user error. the fan will never kick on, on its own unless the ac is on. to me...it sounds like your fan system is working just fine.

system is not working fine,, when car is warmed up to operating temp. both fans should come on...when a/c is on, both fans should be on as well..
try this.......when car is warm,, you said cond fan ( driver side fan ) works ,, when cond fans spins and rad fan does not, assuming you plugged everything back in,, get a big screwdriver and hit the back side of the rad motor see if it comes on,, if it does you got a bad motor,, if not.. chk the fuse underhood fuse box ..the relay,, underhood fuse box...
As for the cond fan coming on when you jump the rad relay, i would have to look at the electrical schematic ,,i can do that on monday and see what is going on..
also as Lightshow said fans not coming on with a/c .. could have a/c issue ( low on freon ) ?

I will appreciate any help possible.
If I can't resolve it here, I will have to pay to get it resolved. I am not trying to take that route yet.
