Radio display is blank

If your radio works, but you can't see anything...I bet the culprit is a blown resistor. IF you search around, you'll find many threads just like it. Honda put out some sort of bulletin awhile back, but I hear many Honda owners are frustrated by the response. Check out this tutorial:

IT WORKED!!!! A very friendly retired electrical engineer at my local hardware store helped me solder. It's really not that tough to take the unit out and take it apart. I used this video to take out the unit for a 2007 Accord radio but it was exactly the same on my 03 EX v6

I'm having a similar issue with my 1994 accord EX but I think my case may be a result of removing the radio system and entering the wrong code several times. I now have the correct code and am unable to input the code.
the anti theft light is still blinking so I know that there is power as well as the lighting on the radio panel.
however, the number pad does not light when the buttons are pressed and the CODE display is not showing.
I am not getting any sound and my fuse under the dash seems to be fine.
is there anything I can try before disassembling the radio again?
