Well we finally made the switch from Toyota to Honda. Hope it works out for the best and Honda can live up to its reputation. Anyway we bought an 04 Accord EX-L after our son hit black ice and wrote off our Camry. He walked away without a scratch, but the car did not fare too well. Anyway within the week of purchase the radio lights went and the check engine light came on. Not starting out the way we hoped. Should we be concerned?????? New to the Honda family.

Update on the issues: Had the car to the dealer and they replaced a PCB circuit board controlling the lights for the radio/heater $180 installed. As for the engine light the gas cap was not on tight enough and eventually the light went out.......

 

Glad your son is ok, please be sure he understands that "things" happen and the most important thing is that he is ok....I hope he can learn from it.
