I was wondering if anyone knows the bolt size/thread for the rear bumper of my "new" 2000 Accord EX?

You're referring to the bolt that adheres the rear plate to the bumper correct? (just so we're on the same page here, is it ref # 30 in this 2000 Accord rear bumper diagram?)

If this is the part you are referring to then it's a 6x16 bolt, OEM part # 93403-06016-08.
