Default RE: rear motor mount

There is a solenoid valve that supplies vacuum to the motor mount at idle to improve dampening. The vacuum switches an internal valve to enable additional dampening. First check that vacuum is available at idle. If not, check the solenoid valve for function and vacuum supply to the solenoid valve. You can manually apply vacuum and see the vacuum actuator on the motor mount move to confirm motor mount vacuum actuator is working. The rubber mounting of the motor mount can be damaged. This is difficult to access and inspect. Car may need to be raised to see the mount clearly, although it can be seen behind the engine.

good luck
