Default Rear seat removal

I need to remove the rear seat bottom from my 95 wagon, but I cannot get it to come up. There are two latches or stirrups on the bottom near the front, and I cannot see how to get them released. Anyone have a tip on how to get these to come out?

Sedan pics from shop manual indicate the seat back must be removed to access bolt at rear of lower seat. Front hooks have to pull forward to clear retaining lip.

Wagon could be different.

good luck

IIRC you can take the center bolt out by pushing down on the bottom padding and using an extension with the socket. Here are some pictures of a wagon with the seat removed that may be of some help:

Subwoofer placement question...

The first pic shows exactly what TexasHonda wrote. I think it may be doable w/o the seat backs removed.
