Default rear window defroster replacement options.

Need defroster to replace the weak ones buried in the glass. Will not buy a complete window.

Any after market stick ons that are good for a couple of years ?

Thanks

On many models the heating resistance film is applied to the inside surface of the rear glass. Sometimes contact w/ something stored in car (long pole) will damage the film.

Element damage can be repaired by applying a conductive paint to bridge the damage. Locating the damage is visual and can be supplemented w/ VOM to locate open element.

You need to state year/trim level of your accord.

good luck

"Weak one" implies that the whole grid is bad not just one "wire", repaired one on my 04 impala, the mounting tab for the electrical supply had broken off. Used silver bearing solder PASTE from a company called iso-tip (product number 7459). If you try it remember to preheat the tip BEFORE touching it to the work, also search you tube as that's where I got the idea.
