Hi there. Question about a part on my 2009 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6. My rearview mirror fell off due to the heat here in TX. The rearview mirror consists of two parts the part that attaches to the window which acts as a holster to the mirror itself and the mirror. I went to get rearview mirror glue and somehow have lost the holster part. I have no way to attach the mirror to my window. I went to Honda parts and there is no part sold separately. THe dealership is telling me I have to buy a new window which it comes with it attached. Does this sound correct??? I am bordering on infuriated and how this makes sense I do not know.....HELP please!

 

Try to find the holster part.

It looks like that piece (I don't remember what it is actually called) is sold with the windshield from Honda.

I would call a place that specializes installing windshields to see if they can get the proper piece for your mirror.
