Default rebuild of my engine

alright, this is kinda a 2 parter lol, i have a 2001 accord with a 2.3 F23a4 vtec, i need a DIY on how to pull the engine out of the car, if that makes sence, ive done it on other cars just not a honda, so i dont wana mess anything up in the prosess, and then also ive got a new block for it and a gasket kit for the engine, and i need to know pretty much how to break it down, the order of the head bolts and everything, if u guys could give me this info it would be very, very appreciated lol

Consider getting yourself a good shop manual, from www dot helminc dot com.

That'll give you everything, including the machining specs for the block & head so you can check out that block.

I had one of those books for 98/99 (when I owned that car) and it's got all the detail. It's the factory shop manual.

Not only what you asked for, but it's got bolting sequences for the cam bearing caps, sequences for the engine mounts (so it doesn't vibrate when you put it back in, all kinds of stuff that you don't know to ask yet.

For a job that big (remove & rebuild engine) it's really worth it. No comparison with the cheap wannabes Chilton & Haynes.
