Default Remote refuse to work.

Hi all, I have a 2003 accord Lx model and had issues with my back passenger power window and It was fixed after we discovered a fuse was blown. After replacing the blown fuse, back power was fixed.4days later the car key remote stopped working but the indicator light on the remote still comes on but it doesn't open or close the doors or the trunk of. the car.Is it possible I have a blown fuse again or the remote control is faulty because I tried reprogramming the remote and it did not cycle. Please I will need Your help with this.

read posting rules. Please don't post in DIY forum.

Remotes are prone to failure; button switches and switch/circuit board solder jts fail due to high use/stress.

A replacement remote key may be necessary.

A shop manual is essential to diagnose. Check automanualsource for an inexpensive OEM emanual.

good luck

You may happen to have a weak enough battery in the remote that it won't work even though the light still does. For a couple bucks try another battery before writing off the remote.
