Default Removing Corner Dent

Year and trim accord : 2001 Accord LX Sedan

Your request for a DIY write up : How to remove a dent in the corner of the rear bumper

Any additional notes that need to be added : Excuse my finger in the top of the picture, but as you can see, the dent is right at the center of the corner of the rear bumper. I have tried using a plunger, also using a hair drier to warm the plastic, and then a plastic mallet to hammer it out, but no change. Any other suggestions?

Need a little more force from the inside? Can you use a piece of wood or a broom handle, then hammer on the end of it?

This is really a simple question/answer/suggestions post so I'll move it over to General Tech. If it turns into a "procedure" write-up, we can move it back.
