Replaced throttle body. TPS makes no difference
The throttle position sensor was throwing a code. Looked like TPS disconnected or something. Failed to screenshot that one. TPS expensive, TB had other issues including badly rusted coolant pipes and broken cruise control cable crank so i dumped a bit more and got the whole TB. now its throwing a high/low signal code somewhat intermittently.
Runs the same with or without the TPS disconnected.
just got the AC recharged. Havent seen it yet but guy says it works great when driving, at idle causes the idle to dip sporadically and disengage AC.
Is there anything I need to/can do to calibrate or test the TPS or IAC?
TB listing here

i just noticed finer print says for automatic only
Looks and fits identical to the original
Says it does not include IAC motor?? Despite having electrical connector... maybe im completely confused here or theyre too dumb to describe it.
Of course i think my dumb a$$ already threw away the original. Not that it was doing me much good besides the flapper
Thanks for anything

Manual trans
Im finding all sorts of info about resetting ecu and learning new idle by digging the site but all for older years. How might i do this on the 03?
I did see that the MAP and TPS plugs can get switched.... awful planning. This will be the first thing i check.

If the fine print says only for AT, I suspect there has to be a difference. Look up the OEM part number for the throttle body for your 03 manual trans, then look up the OEM part number for the automatic. This could be your problem.
For future car work, keep your old parts until you are sure you got it fixed. Looks like you'll need a scanner to have the car do the idle relearn.
I'll suggest getting the shop manual for your car if you plan more DIY work. automanualsource.com has a pdf for your car for $22 and is worth the investment.

Honestly i think the auto only is nonsense
i originally found a listing on partsgeek.com that said auto only. Asked about it on chat was referred to this part no and brand as should work because it did not specify on their site. Found cheaper through amazon sold directly by the brand's store
So the guy fixed the ac. Feels like a blizzard.
Right after i got it back i punched the gas from idle at a stop. It was running kinda low around 500. It stumbled and stalled when it came back down. After that it has been idling at 800-1000 with ac on. The iac seems to be active. Cant say for the TPS will try swapping plugs with MAP
Has copious power even with the ac on.
Theres one small issue remaining that has me weird.
I got the guy that did the ac to balance the front tires. The sticky weights had fallen off. Were severely out of balance. Explained and mostly remedied a scary death wobble on the freeway above 60, steering wheel shaking violently 1/4 inch
Now the wobble has been reduced to a wiggle
is Only between 60 and 70 and Only when im on the gas. Foot off gas it sails smooth. Above 70 it smooths out again
Oh and the ABS indicator is pissed off now
Joy
Have not hammered on the brakes to see if its functional

I may have answered my own question about the wiggle
Found a thread on a honda odyssey forum with scads of guys describing the exact issue. 95% of them boiled it down to the CV shafts.
Not sure im ready to dive down that hole yet but its good to know what it is
