Question Is Replacing Cruise Control & Audio Clusters on Steering Wheel a DIY Project?

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, and I have searched the forum for an answer to this question, but found nothing.

I just recently purchased a 99 EX-VL 4 dr. The cruise control and audio clusters on the steering wheel all work perfectly, but 99% of the print on the buttons has worn off. I would like to replace both clusters so I don't have to guess which button to depress.

I would like to know if this would be a fairly easy DIY project? I'm not a mechanic or anything close, but I am capable of installing an audio system. I can't imagine it would be that difficult.

Also, is there a recommended place to purchase these items or is this a dealer item.

Thanks for the input.

Looks like the switch assemblies (#2 & 3) come off with a couple screws. Be careful about disturbing any wiring to the airbag...!
