Replacing the front pipe
I have a 1993 Honda Accord LX 4 door and am looking for tips on how to
remove the front pipe.
In particular I am looking for any tips and or advice on removing the bolts by the engine, the bolts by the convertor I will just cut off with a
cutting wheel.
I dont have a torch. The space seems pretty tight to be messing with a cutting wheel so I am looking for advice.
The pipe is coming and I figure by the weekend I will at it.
I am doing this because the pipe is old and because I need to replace the oil pan gasket. The thing is leaking oil like crazy since the heat wave.
Thanks for any input.

Old thread .. Stopping by and just wanted to complete the thread.
Changing the front pipe was not as bad as I thought it would be. The bolts connecting the pipe to the exhaust manifold came off no problem.
The 3 rear bolts connecting to the catalytic convertor were a pain.
I cut them off using of them off using a 3 inch disc cutter.
Then the fun started, the bolts would not eject from the convertor.
I was beating them with a hammer dead on and nothing.. I then
started beating them side to side and that got 2 of them loose so I could remove em. The third bolt was to high up to get a good swing with a hammer.
THIS IS where having a compressor and a $25 air hammer tool paid off in spades. Beat that bolt loose in just a few seconds using the air hammer.
Old front pipe off and new pipe on.
