Default Replacing front struts, springs too?

I was told I needed new front struts, after 154K, duh? Looking for some advice or opinion here:

1 - any thoughts on new struts, not looking for a high performance racing break my wallet, just a normal strut, maybe a slight upgrade from the stock struts. I commute 110 miles/day and it's mainly highway.

2 - should I replace the springs too?

3 - if replacing the springs, refer to question 1, nothing flashy, economical and durable.

My "ride" - 2001 Accord EX, 5 spd, 154,000 miles, new shifter **** (yup did it myself and didn't curse once, lol), novice car guy here LOL

are you hearing any noises in the back? that would be your struts. springs i would only replace if they break. springs can be a big job (expensive). i got a 99 accord ex with almost 149,000 miles, and i have had no problems knock on wood. i wish these accords would have more low end torque though.

Just because it has a lot of miles doesn't mean it needs new struts. Are they leaking?

I'm not hearing any noise in the back. The front struts are leaking (mainly right side) and you can tell the front is "loose" when you go over bumps. I'll probably just replace the front struts?

I'd just replace the fronts then.
