Default Replacing Gage lights

Hi, I have a '94 Accord LX 4 dr Auto. I need to replace a couple of gage lights on the instrument panel. I have the manual and this does not look that difficult to do except at the beginning of that section it has a warning about before disconnecting any part of the SRS harness, connect the shorting plugs. I wasn't planning on messing with the SRS system, but I know the dash has an SRS indicator... Do I need this shorting plug just to replace some bulbs? (I don't want an airbag in my face... )

Thanks- Dan

All the SRS plugs should be shrouded in yellow... just avoid them and you should be fine.

I think that diasbling the driver's side might be a good idea since you will be working over the steering wheel. Accidental deployment of the air bag can be fatal. If you are going to be near the pass. side, I would do that one too.

Its pretty simple to do, takes no time at all, and its better to be safe than sorry.

How do you do it and where does the shorting plug go?
