Default Replacing th clock spring

On a 1992 Honda Accord. The clock spring on my car went out as most of you know I know this because the horn, cruise control stopped working and the srs light turned on. I would prefer to do this work on my car than taking it to an electrician or even worst the agency. I would like to know how to remove the old clock spring and put the new one in. Thank you in advance. Please be as specific as possible since I have never done this before.

Disconnect the battery negativelead, have radio code on hand if needed.
First remove the steering column shrouds; screws on the under side.
The steering wheel air bag is usually held in placeby torx screws from behind the steering wheel under little cover plates.
Lock the steering as centered as possible....Key out.
Remove the 17or19mm nut holding the steering wheel on. You can now make a scratch mark on the steering wheel plate and the stud where the nut was, for re-assembly.

The new reel will come with tape holding it in a centered position; because it only turns
1-1/2 turns in either direction.

Unplug the old reel and remove it.
Install the new reel VERY IMPORTANT TO KEEP IT AS CENTERED AS POSSIBLE. There are little studs on the reel that match to holes on the back of the steering wheel, so watch carefully when re-installing the steering wheel. And use the scratch marks to realign the steering wheel.
Put every thing back together, hook up the battery, then while sitting in the passenger seat, just in case, turn on the key.
This is not a complete step by step but should get you thru the job.
If you have any further questions repost.
