I noticed that when I put my car in park or on neutral and I rev the engine, it doesn't go past a certain number (barely comes up to the red line). Is this due to Honda putting in a rev limiter, or what? I'm just curious.

 

depends on what accord you have but yes, almost all cars have a rev limiter

 

Well, I have an 00 Accord V6, so I guess that explains it.
