Unhappy Rust trouble

Hi,

I want to keep my car for at least a winter or two if possible but the rust is really getting bad under it. Is there anything i can do about it? Car is still running good exept few banal trouble that i don't really cares of since it doesn't make the car dangerous or doesn't stop it from running. I know that its still solid for now but anything could slow it a bit from desintegrating?

Thanks

Please provide the year, v6/4-cyl, trim, and transmission for your car.

I have an idea of where your car is rotting. Adding a picture zoomed out helps us identify some other problem areas. It looks like your rocker panel is in very bad shape.

Before investing any money or time, you need to have the car inspected by a competent mechanic to make sure it is safe to drive.

The only way to stop rust completely is to cut out the rotted metal, weld in new metal, then paint. It is probably not worth the work on an accord. You may slow it down by removing the surface rust with a grinder, then using a rust converter paint.

03 V6 EX 2dr AT. Also the car is still safe to drive no worry. But i was told its probably last winter or the next one is last. Rocker panel on right side is damaged from a Jack that broke when he removed the stands.
