I recently putnew front rotors and geniune honda rotors. After using it for few days i have big sctaches on the rotors. I took a close look on the rotors. metal look like little reddiish on the top of rotors, where brakes are not in contact with rotor. its not rust i know that. This happened last time too when i got my brakes serviced from honda. we i was installing rotors slider pins were tight. they were loose if there was no rubber boots on em but they got tight as soon as here were boots on them. iused caliper greese but no use. can i cut some of the rubber from inside to loose up pins. Plz help

Can you get a picture of what you are talking about? I have no clue how a pad would scartch a brand new rotor, unless there was a rock in there.
