seat Belt
I have a 2005 LX model,
the rear seat belt does not "click" shut.
1. is this still underwarrenty.
The manuel syas limited warrenty--a seat belt that fails to function is covered for the useful life of the vehicle.
2. Is there a minor repair thatI can do??

RE: seat Belt
if it's a problem with the button releasing you may be able to spray a little WD-40 in there to free it up, also make sure that you are connecting the proper belt to the proper buckle, if you are trying to put the drivers side, rear seat belt into the rear center passenger buckle it may not work... I'd probably call a dealer about it if it's not just a matter of plugging the right belt into the right buckle since it is a major piece of safety equipment, if it's warrantied then take it in, if not try the WD-40 and go from there

Yeah, the first time I had a HondAccord, I got confused about the different size latch for the center belt.
WD-40 can gum up the latch mechanism; giving the dealer a perfect opportunity to deny warranty coverage. And plastic parts in the latch might get softened over long-term with solvents in there.
Why not take the warranty & let them install a new one? Believe me, it's not "free" - you paid for it when you bought the car.

RE: seat Belt
if car is still under warranty 3yrs 36k miles DO NOT and i mean DO NOT attempt to do any work that is covered under warranty..
it might void the warranty once they see that you have been playing around with it ..
do not think twice about it . take it to the nearest Honda dealer near you
