Hi all
i'm new to this and have picked up my 2004 accord today. my question is, the dealership says the car has been serviced but on close inspection the fuel filter, air filter and pollen filter have not been changed, i contacted the dealer and they say everything that needs doing has been done. the car has just had it's third birthday and has done 40k surely this should be a major service. curiousley the page in the servic book which tells you what should be covered is missing and i wondered if anyone could send me a copy of the relevent page? 2.2ctdi accord 2004 40,000 miles 3 years old. many thanks. wayne

 

at that mileage I would worry if the air filter was never done but the fuel filter should be fine... our DIY section has some general recomendations in it

 

2.2 ctdi is a diesel, right? We don't get that engine here in USA, so some stuff should be different.

We don't really get a fuel filter. Our Accords have a mesh screen in the tank. You're in England? I'll bet Honda changes things (like installs a fuel filter) and schedules some maintenance different for some parts of the world.
