Default Should I be concerned?

Hi all,

I'm new to the forums and Just got my first Honda 2 days ago. I got a Honda Certified 2014 with 10K miles on it from a major dealer in my area. I did my dues diligence and looked over the vehicle and viewed the car-fax report and everything seems in order.

As I was scotch-guarding/Armoralling the interior, I did notice a few things that concern me a little. I notices the screws are missing from a small panel near the floor on the left passenger side. Here are some pics:

Does anyone know what is behind there, why they would need to remove it, would this be part of their multi-point inspection. What should I be looking for if there was a problem? I found a stray screw in the vehicle that I think goes here so I assume it was done at the dealership.

I also noticed there is no panel behind the brake/accelerator pedals.
Pics:

Should there be? If so, same questions as above. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid. I'm just always skiddish about used cars and dealerships.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

1. The SRS unit is located behind the center console area.

2. The driver's side foot-well looks normal. There is no panel there.

Thank you for the reply. So the control unit for the airbags, impact sensors ect? Could that be an indication of an accident? Would that be something they would check during their inspection? Just wondering why they would have that panel off.

Yes, it is the control unit for the airbags, etc. There are also a few other wiring harness connectors there; so, you would have to ask the dealer why they may have looked in there or removed the screws.

Ok, I'll talk with them, and ask them about the srs and wiring harness connections. Thanks again for the replies.
