My Side view mirror (driver side) damage in the parking area. It was hit by somebody passing by (I think) it was folded front ways. Now it doesn’t stay on center, it look like the spring was damage or lose, but no broken from exterior nor the mechanical power mirror, only the manual folding mechanism. How can I replace or check this part of the side mirror.

Appreciate any advice.

 

The only replaceable parts appear to be the power mirror parts, not the folding mechanism. Best bet is a used mirror unit to match your color (if original color).

Cost to paint might exceed cost of painted replacement part from Honda ($134 US)

i think the spring for the folding mechanism is intact, I will figure it out next time, for the mean time electric tape will be holding my side mirror in place.
