small annoying leak
I have a 99 Accord 4 cyl with 185xxx miles and it has an oil leak on the pass side on the engine. It is somewhere below the cam cover. Problem is I cant see where its coming from. I can only see it when its on the lift and im looking from underneath. I have replaced the cam cover gaskets and the O ring on the distributor. Are there any other common leaks on this side of the engine? WHen I am under the car the oil trail I can see looks like that the oil is coming from the far right (pass side) right around the intake manifold.
I am having to replace the transmission, like everyone else, and am planning on a new crank seal when I do.
Thx for any advice.

Distributor internal seal (not oring to head) can leak and allow oil to drain out lower side of distributor cap/body where there is a drain opening. Oil will generally accumlate near starter beneath distributor.
If car is Vtec, there can be leaks between vtec solenoid valve body and engine fitting. An oring seal must be replaced.
good luck
