Unhappy Snow Cable Problems. . .Help?

Are there specific snow cables that are recommended for use on a '94 Accord? I've used a set before, but they rubbed on the inner wheel support when I turned sharply. Going straight wasn't an issue. Today, however, I bought a new set because my old ones were shot, and they rubbed so bad that I had to take them off. That quickly aborted by attempt to go skiing today. So, any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone? Does Honda make proprietary chains for use on their vehicles??

I doubt that they do, but I have never looked into that.

Since you live in an area where cars may need chains, I would call your local Honda dealership and ask them that question. They may be able to order some that will work, or point you in the right direction.
